I'm excited to be linking up with the MARCH ( OMG how can it be March already) Pinterest Pick 3 linky!
In social studies we've been studying medieval Japan. As a Catholic school, it's also the season of Lent for us. I have this idea to make a bulletin board display that incorporates origami with religion, but it depends on learning how to make these adorable origami butterflies...in Purple of course (the color for Lent)! I think this class will be really into origami and I'm also looking to have them learn other folds.
I've been on the lookout for cool projects to do to start sixth grade's study of Ancient Greece. This water clock seems interesting, fun, and different to make.
Umm...who says that Middle Schoolers don't like to have fun and build awesome things. I found this pin for a "gingerbread" Parthenon! I'll probably have to be super careful about what items the kids bring in ( I've got a few allergies in my class this year), but how fun to relate a "childish" thing with curriculum and help our kiddos maintain an innocent joy. Bring on the graham crackers!
Make sure you check out other amazing ideas for March!
